Triumph Bobber Custom Excel Wide Wheel - Spoke and Rim Kits - Brogue Moto

We’ve spent the last few months working towards an affordable, high-quality Triumph Bobber Wide Wheel Kit that looks the part without sacrificing function for style.

Bobber wide Wheel Kits include custom drilled Excel rims to match your stock hubs, alongside the correct length stainless steel spokes and nipples.

You can purchase each kit separately, either front or rear, laced or unlaced. If you would like us to complete the lacing service, you must disassemble your wheels and send us your stock hubs. All wheels must be laced by a qualified motorcycle technician.

Due to the complexity of drilling each rim, a gloss black powder-coated service is available for an additional charge (completed after the drilling process), or the rims can be sold in Excel’s raw anodized finish.

• Rear wheel kits consist of a 17x5 Excel rim and are designed to be used with a tire no wider than a 170, which will not require a sprocket offset. We recommend the following rear tire: Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart IV Rear Tire - 170/60ZR17.
• Front wheel kits consist of an 18x2.5 Excel rim. We recommend the following front tire: Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart IV Front Tire - 120/70ZR18.

All wheel kits come with custom-cut stainless steel spokes and nipples. Rim straps, tubes, and tires are not included in this kit. See builder information below.

• Quality rim strap: 18" x 1 3/16" wide
• Quality rim strap: 17" x 2 3/8" wide

Tires:

• Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart IV Rear Tire - 170/60ZR17.
• Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart IV Front Tire - 120/70ZR18.

Torque Specs:

• Front Torque: 45-60 in-lbs
• Rear Torque: 60-75 in-lbs
• Run-out: .005–.030 (both axes)
